This article I read spellbound with fascination
About the human mind and of letter juxtaposition.
A wrong spelling, now that doesn’t matter much
As long as it contains all the original letters as such.
The letters in the middle can be any which way arranged
As long as the ones at the beginning and end are unchanged !!
While my amazement for the human mind certainly grew
And with its immense capability for the abstract to construe,
I was ever so clearly and extremely astound
When I realised that the’wrod was deinfetily ‘ spell-bound !!!
For the mind was not totally unfettered ...though however free
For , to recognise the finite word, it had its limits to see ..
The beginning and the end of the spelling of the word were bound
To their places , no matter how you tossed, those in the middle, around .
So very like Life, now wouldn’t you agree ?
We know our beginning and our end , you see.
And it is up to us what we make of the middle
And exactly what we read into Life’s enigmatic riddle.

I read the same article, and was astounding. I like the moral at the end of your piece - how true.
i too have seen this before and it is amazing isn't it... perhaps that is what i am such a god awful speller... because it really doesn't matter does ti????
Shucks...and me trying to spell correctly all my life! Trying to force too much order into my life perhaps?
I have seen worse. We teachers have hard time correcting. Spellings do matter even if we can read through gibberish!
dried piece of toast
Amazing, isn't it? We do see what we think we see! And, yes, life works from start to finish and fills the middle! Nice post response.
I had read a forwarded email about this some time back, its amazing isn't it
Its true and amazing.....
Brain will always remain brain

Well done ! Finding order in the 'Divine Confusion.'

Good show and keep writing more!
And thanks a ton for that poetic comment, i just loved every word of it.
The end of ur poem is really good... and meaningful. I agree with it totally.
Indeed the beginning and end are well defined, correct order of those in middle we must find, we were born and will die one fine day, how we effect people during the grind, I am certain and prayerful, guess rightly so, we touch a few lives as we grow, we nurture few minds with our thought flow, we may live fast or might act slow, but task cut out is to bask in divine glory that keeps us aglow :)
WOW very very nice Shubha! And my younger son would be the happiest....he never got his spellings right and sometimes confused me too...eg wtch and which and witch and ??????
